Artists' Circle Bray

Clare is a native of Bray, who just loves oil painting. She caught the bug in Loreto Convent in Bray, and remembers a teacher called Ms. Murphy who encouraged all in the class to delve into different mediums.

Not having painted for a few years, she decided to attend night classes in St. Thomas' and St. Kilian's Community Colleges. The course 'Oil Painting for Beginners' was run by a very talented teacher named Helen who showed Clare's group various different techniques.

"I have not looked back since then, and now continue my painting with the Artists' Circle, where help and encouragement is readily available from the friendly group of artists who attend each Monday night."

Clare particularly loves to paint seaside scenes, Flowers and dogs.
